I've never seen Captain Kangaroo but always wonder about it since that song they used on Pulp Fiction - "smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo..."
Ahhh, that just made me feel all warm and fuzzy and nostalgic--I grew up with the Captain and I'll bet I could "name that tune in one note"! Also, I guess we all now know where Laugh-In got their set from, huh.
No way is Space Commander old enough to remember watching Captain Kangaroo lol... =)
Now who was that who did that song in Pulp Fiction? "Counting Flowers on the Wall" by the Statler Brothers, I think.
The Captain was on foreeeever... I get all warm and fuzzy too because I remember Capt. Kangaroo and Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit and Dancing Bear... and Mr. Green Jeans... and Grandfather Clock ;P
