Why has Junior been wearing a wall-to-wall grin this week? He's been anticipating Summer Vacation, and today's finally the last day of school, that's why! Let's have a look at what last day surprises a very loving and thoughtful parent has packed inside his ultra cool but battered lunchbox for the very last cold lunch ever of his too brief 4th Grade life:
- One Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich
- One Thermos filled with refreshing Strawberry Kool-Aid
- One Super Absorbent Napkin
- One pair of Wax Lips
- One box of Red Hots Candy
- One Sugar Daddy Sucker
- Six Stretchy Lizards (for Junior's lunch buddies)
- One Wooly Willy Game
Junior's reproduction Tom Corbett lunchbox is manufactured by Brainiaks, Inc.
The Space Cadet thermos is the real deal (and shown here for display purposes only... it's worth a slight bit more than a repro!)

Oh NOW you've done it!
I've been checking out the space theme lunch boxes on eBay, and NOW I will HAVE to get one! =P
But seriously, will you adopt me so I can have a super cool lunches like that? =) Heck, I'd even go BACK to school for that!
Lucky Jr.!
Whadda lucky kid!
Hey Space Commander... You mentioned being an AOL chat room host. My friend was one too... Or what he called a guide or moderator. Same thing? When did you do that? (I think he did it mid-to-late 90's, when you could get free internet for being a guide instead of paying the $$ per hour back then).
LoL! He's been saying a lot the right things to butter me up recently... too bad he's gonna grow out of it! =P
Yep, there were hosts who "babysat" in one particular chatroom, and guides who roamed from room to room. I was one during the same time as your friend =O I stopped when Junior was born.
I wonder if you knew him... I bet you do lol...
Care to give me your guide ID? Or you can email me at: rtstcly_gftd@yahoo.com
I can't recall his exact ID(s) at the mo... He also worked for Lycos and MTV chat rooms...
Wow, just might be a small world after all ar-ar~~~
Best lunch ever!
