Still on the prowl over the web today and made another hit that needs to be shared with all you MCM-conscious readers out there. It's Wilkerson Furniture located in Lake View Terrace, California, a contemporary maker of of fine furniture with a Danish Modern flavor. I especially like the M21 entertainment console designed to house today's flat screen TVs (and apparently hide all those accessories to boot). Its all encased by a vintage-styled hard wood cabinet, your choice of walnut or cherry. The site looks fairly new, so if you're interested in any of the products, you need to give them a ring. They ask for 12 weeks lead time and offer custom sizing.

Jeepers!!!! Very cool idea!!
But uh oh, they don't give prices Eeep! Which means: 1950's Atomic Ranch House lady cannot afford it!
I've been on the lookout for some genuine MCM cabinets, non-working stereos, etc and such I can convert or gut for use... I'm afraid that will be in a much better price range for me. =)
Gosh n'golly that's sweet! Maybe some handy people can make thier own! It really doesn't look to complex...hmmmm...my gears are turning!
I'm always scared when a seller doesn't offer a price... it's usually a bad omen. Besides, I can be pretty handy with a saw and a piece of wood I've played around with the idea to disguise my set before. But I do like they way that their idea has turned out.
So fantastic. What a great idea!
