Atomic Wall Masks on eBay
Oh the drudgery of shopping online for hip-happening items for the home! Here's a another recent find that appeals to my budget:
Three Midcentury Modern Eames Era Black Ceramic Wall Masks won for only $4.95. These each measure about 2 X 4 inches. Very cool, especially on my wall ;)

Joseph Shepherd Abstract on eBay
Work by Joseph H. Shepherd, done on illustration board, dated 1952. I want this on my living room wall. I love it simply for the geometry of all the shapes and interwoven parabolas. Look beyond the abstractionist aspect and you can make out the figure of the high-living lady.
Auction by Mo Moderne.

What We Watch - Father Knows Best, Season Two
Well, how on earth did I almost miss this? Shout Factory has already released the second season of Father Knows Best back in November while we've still been preoccupied with the first collection! Season 1 was released in April and I was first in line.
I can finally cast aside all those deteriorating video tapes I recorded off of CBN and the Family Channel! The wonders of a push-button age.
Stay tuned - Season Three is due out June 9.

How to be the Best at Everything
It all started with the The Dangerous Book for Boys by Conn Iggulden.
There's more and more of these coming out now. If you'd like to help your kids to get away from those thought-numbing video games and enjoy kidhood a little more like you did, then I'd recommend that you pick up a copy or two of the "How to be the Best at Everything" books.
And now there's even a volume especially for you Mom, and one for good ol' Pop.
Eight-year old Junior read his copy cover to cover and kept him busy over his winter break with the fun ideas and activities.

Atomic Drapes on eBay
One of the easiest ways to transform an entire room, besides painting, is to change window curtains. Here's my new-old stock 100% fiberglass atomic squares draperies, "Monique" by Fashion Manor, unused, still in the original package and tagged $3.00 for Penney's.
I think these are very retro without being... ummm, overstated like what I usually find on the auctions.
