A variation on the toy was also used for a saucer shaped space bank back in the Fifties (which, of course, I have no picture of at the moment).

I completely forgot that Glenco reproduced this. Since I doubt I'll own the original any time soon, I might just have to grab the reproduction... Thanks for the reminder!Doc Atomichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15756391204121061932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7802544020296021176.post-77791498507002119632010-05-22T22:09:00.230-05:002010-05-22T22:09:00.230-05:00Thanks!Thanks!1950s Atomic Ranch Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02460669868967006928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7802544020296021176.post-26745168313356906332010-05-20T11:41:14.872-05:002010-05-20T11:41:14.872-05:00$25 sounds about average. If you're good with your hands and feel confident, use super glue (after trial fitting the pieces) instead of that nasty old modelling cement/airplane glue :P You'll get much better results!Space Commanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03980773832050906325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7802544020296021176.post-77539510473708994192010-05-20T09:52:58.156-05:002010-05-20T09:52:58.156-05:00Wow, very cool!

He's done the old Walt Disney "Man in Space" kits and the Moonliner based on the same rocket once seen at Tomorrowland - some goodies no space room should be without!Space Commanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03980773832050906325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7802544020296021176.post-73484801663414672282010-05-19T21:23:32.884-05:002010-05-19T21:23:32.884-05:00Ooooo soooweeet, hadn't thought of getting a f...Ooooo soooweeet, hadn't thought of getting a flying saucer! =D

Glenco, eh? *going to ebay to check*1950s Atomic Ranch Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02460669868967006928noreply@blogger.com
